1. No Therapist–Client Relationship

Visiting this website, submitting a contact form, sending an email, requesting an appointment, or otherwise communicating with Oakline Counseling does not by itself create a therapist-client, counselor-client, or other professional relationship. A professional counseling relationship is established only after Oakline Counseling has accepted you as a client and the required intake, informed consent, and related practice documents have been completed.

Oakline Counseling provides professional counseling services in accordance with applicable professional licensing laws and regulations. For telehealth services, clients generally must be physically located at the time of the session in a state or jurisdiction in which their treating clinician is legally authorized to provide services. Submitting an appointment request does not guarantee eligibility for services or acceptance as a client. Oakline Counseling reserves the right to determine whether its services are clinically, professionally, or legally appropriate for a prospective client.
